GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The DLL5010-M presents a leap forward in laser scanning technology.
Continuing on the successful path traced by the DL910 in regards to its unique design and ergonomy, Datalogic launches a new laser reader studied to address specifically RETAIL, OFFICE AUTOMATION and light LOGISTICS applications.
Based on observations and extensive biomechanical engineering, the DLL5010-M is designed to be easy-to-use, comfortable to hold, and intuitive to operate in both standing or sitting situations. Its design is pleasant to eye and light in hand, yet, at the same time, very robust. It can resist repeated drops onto a concrete surface from up to 1.5 m.
A choice from two different scanning engines guarantees the best possible solution to a specific application. The General Purpose (G.P.) model is designed to be a versatile solution for the retail and office automation sectors. The Very High Density (V.H.D.) model is able to read codes down to a narrow bar width of only 0.06 mm (2.5 mils)! It is therefore ideal for use in the electronics and pharmaceutical industries. An integrated multistandard decoder is standard in all models and provides reliable reading of damaged and even marginal specification codes. Plus, the three interface possibilities (Pen Emulation, RS232 and Wedge) and plug-in cables allow integration into any system.
