Formula 660 is a light, rugged, compact and highly versatile hand-held terminal that uses red or infrared light for the automatic acquisition of bar codes. Use it to instantly pick up, decode and store data safely in the pen's abundant memory. The captured data can be downloaded to the host computer in different ways: by serial line or remotely by radiofrequency (Formula 660/RF). Equipped with full alphanumeric-functional keyboard, graphic display with 4 lines of 16 characters with icons, and an extensive storage capacity for both data and programs, Formula 660 allows considerable freedom of movement and operation thanks to its long-lasting battery charge. By being fully user-programmable in "C" language, the Formula 660 is easily adaptable to suit any application requirements. The astonishing flexibility of Formula 660 makes it ideal for virtually any application in the retail, commercial and industrial fields. F660 communicates with the central processor or any Personal Computer using different connection systems, both wireless (Formula 660/RF) and cabled. Data can be download in the batch mode using the single station transceiver/charger Formula 951 or the multiple station Formula 950/4. The communicating line can be an RS232 direct serial line or Eavesdrop, an RS485 or keyboard emulation with Formula 67 - Decoder. |
