Hand Held Products SCANTEAM® 5700 High Density Hand Held Laser Scanner
The Hand Held Products SCANTEAM® 5700/HD products provide a unique Welch Allyn brand identity in the high performance category of laser scanners. The ST5700/HD provides value and durability in an ergonomically designed enclosure. The Hand Held Products ST5700/HD series is available with a full suite of decoded output interfaces. The Hand Held Products ST5700/HD is also available in non-decoded output for connection to an external decoder. The Instant Interface Module provides aggressive bar code decoding, advanced data editing and formatting capabilities, and a wide range of host connectivity. All Instant Interface firmware is stored in FLASH memory which may be reprogrammed in the field by cloning from one unit to another, or by downloading from Welch Allyn's PC-based software tools. Interfaces include a wide range of keyboard wedges, serial RS-232, wand emulation and proprietary direct connect to POS devices, such as NCR OCIA, IBM 5B/9B/17, and IBM/Fujitsu OCR.
